An encyclopedia is a digital resource containing broad and systematic information on a variety of topics. In our encyclopedia you will find dog breeds sorted by use and also according to the FCI standard. Also horse breeds, overview of states, cat breeds, chicken breeds and many other useful information.

You know that... The first encyclopedia was already created in ancient Greece and ancient Rome. One of the most famous early examples of an encyclopedia was the work "Naturalis Historia" (Natural History) written by the Roman scholar Pliny the Elder in the first century AD. This work contained a wide range of knowledge about nature, geography, medicine, art and other topics.
