You know that... The first gaming computer was created in the 1950s. One of the earliest known examples is the game "OXO" (also known as "Noughts and Crosses" or "Tic-Tac-Toe") created by Christopher Strachey in 1952 for the Ferranti Mark I computer. The game was simple and played on paper, but Strachey converted it into a computerized form, making it possible to play against the computer.
